Marjorie Crovetto: Building Monaco's Future through
Leadership, Commitment, and Vision
On Monday, June 29th, the Monaco Women Network was delighted to welcome Marjorie Crovetto, Deputy Mayor of Monaco in charge of Quality of Life, Environment and Sustainable Development, for an exclusive conversation held in the historic Galerie Berrino, in the heart of Monaco-Ville, just steps away from the Mairie de Monaco (Town Hall).
The evening took place in the presence of Georges Marsan, Mayor of Monaco, alongside several members of the Municipal Council, including Camille Svara, Karyn Ardisson and Nathalie Vaccarezza. In an intimate setting, guests had the opportunity to discover the professional journey, values and vision of one of Monaco's most dedicated public servants.

A Career built on Opportunity and Commitment
Born and raised in Monaco, Marjorie Crovetto describes herself first and foremost as a woman of action.
After studying law, she began her career within the Monegasque administration before working as a notarial clerk and later founding her own real estate agency in 2010.
Her public service journey began in 2007 when she joined the municipal team alongside Mayor Georges Marsan. Since then, she has taken on increasing responsibilities, bringing together her professional expertise and her commitment to serving the Principality.
Throughout the discussion, she emphasized a principle that has guided her throughout her career: remaining close to the everyday realities of residents and focusing on practical solutions that have a tangible impact on people's lives.
Balancing Public Service, Career, and Family
One of the most personal moments of the conversation came when Marjorie Crovetto reflected on balancing professional responsibilities, family life and public office.
She spoke candidly about the challenges many women face when pursuing demanding careers while maintaining personal commitments. For her, the greatest challenge has been finding the energy to never give up on opportunities, while remaining true to her values.
Her message was one of determination: with resilience, organization and genuine passion, it is possible to embrace multiple responsibilities without sacrificing ambition.

Improving Everyday Life
Within the Municipal Council, Marjorie Crovetto's priorities naturally revolve around improving daily life for Monaco's residents.
From local markets and community services to public spaces and environmental initiatives, her approach is firmly rooted in practicality and proximity. She believes that meaningful public service begins by listening carefully to the needs of residents and responding with concrete actions rather than abstract promises.
This philosophy of accessibility and responsiveness, she explained, is one of the defining strengths of Monaco's Town Hall.
Sustainability through Action
As Deputy Mayor responsible for Environment and Sustainable Development, Marjorie Crovetto highlighted the important role municipalities can play in encouraging more sustainable behaviours, even when certain environmental competencies fall under the responsibility of the State.
For her, leading by example is essential.
She shared several initiatives implemented by the Municipality to raise public awareness, including campaigns against littering, efforts to reduce food waste, projects promoting the circular economy and repair culture, community sales, and plant donation initiatives.
These projects may appear simple individually, but together they contribute to building a more responsible and environmentally conscious community.
Mairie de Monaco: an Institution, serving Monaco together
Today, the Mairie de Monaco brings together more than 800 employees working across numerous municipal departments.
Marjorie Crovetto spoke about the importance of teamwork between elected officials and administrative staff in delivering high-quality public services to residents every day.
She also thanked Mayor Georges Marsan, with whom she has worked for nearly twenty years. She described him as an inspiring leader whose values of proximity, empathy and public service have profoundly influenced her own approach to leadership.
Looking Ahead: a Candidate for Mayor of Monaco
The evening concluded with a significant announcement.
Marjorie Crovetto officially confirmed that she will be standing as a candidate for Mayor of Monaco. She announced that she will lead the L'Évolution Communale list, with the full programme to be presented to the Monegasque public after the summer.
The announcement marked an important moment in the evening and was met with great interest by attendees, offering a glimpse into the next chapter of her long-standing commitment to the Principality.
As with every Monaco Women Network event, the conference was followed by a networking cocktail, allowing guests to continue the conversation with Marjorie Crovetto in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, an opportunity for meaningful exchanges that reflects the very essence of the Monaco Women Network.
