Under the High Patronage and Honorary Presidency of H.S.H. Princess Charlene of Monaco, the 14th edition of the Monte-Carlo Woman of the Year Award took place on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the Méridien Beach Plaza in Monaco, following the Monaco Women Forum.

The Gala Dinner brought together nearly 190 guests in an elegant and convivial setting.

The evening featured a three-course gala dinner, privileged networking moments, on-stage interviews with leading figures in scientific research, and a celebration of the advancements shaping the future of medicine.

Once again, the event fulfilled its mission: creating a space where science, innovation and human exchange come together to inspire and connect.

At the heart of the evening, exclusive on-stage interviews explored the key themes of this edition, including longevity, nutrition and medical innovation.

Professor Sarah Berry shared her research on personalized nutrition and its impact on long-term health, while Professor Maria Blasco provided key scientific insights into the mechanisms of aging and the role of telomeres.

Amira Romani, from Siemens Healthineers, highlighted the latest advances in diagnostics and precision medicine, emphasizing the critical role of technology in transforming healthcare systems.

The Monte-Carlo Woman of the Year Award 2026 was presented to Professor Maria Blasco, a leading figure in aging research. Through her pioneering work on telomeres and cellular aging, and with over 280 scientific publications, she has profoundly advanced the understanding of age-related diseases and opened new therapeutic pathways.

The Special Award 2026 was granted to Professor Sarah Berry, whose research on personalized nutrition, the gut microbiome and cardiometabolic health is redefining our approach to longevity and helping make science accessible to a wider audience.
