The 9th edition of the Monaco Women Forum 2026, under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Princess Charlene of Monaco, concluded successfully, reaffirming its position as a leading international platform dedicated to women’s leadership, innovation and forward-looking global dialogue.

Held in the Principality of Monaco, the Forum gathered over 200 participants from across Europe, with a full audience throughout the four high-level panels of the day.

The event brought together decision-makers, business leaders, scientists and international experts to address the major transformations shaping our societies — across finance, technology, space, health and longevity.

The 9th edition of the Monaco Women Forum 2026 concluded successfully, reaffirming its position as a leading international platform dedicated to women’s leadership, innovation and forward-looking global dialogue.

The event brought together decision-makers, business leaders, scientists and international experts to address the major transformations shaping our societies — across finance, technology, space, health and longevity.

Space and Geopolitics: international cooperation and emerging strategic challenges

The space panel focused on the role of international cooperation, governance and security in a rapidly evolving geopolitical context.

Featuring Luca Salamone (Italian Space Agency), Domitilla Benigni (CEO, ELT Group), Rosanna Hoffmann(UNOOSA), and moderated by Anne-Claire Grossias (UNOOSA), the discussion highlighted the need to strengthen inclusive governance models and reinforce global cooperation, in line with United Nations priorities.

Particular attention was given to the strategic importance of the electromagnetic spectrum, whose vulnerabilities now represent a critical and immediate challenge, sometimes even more pressing than traditional cybersecurity threats.

The session was introduced by keynote remarks from Aarti Holla-Maini, Director of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs, and Olivier Minazzoli, Administrator of the Monaco Space Office.

The Future of Medicine: innovation, technology, and collaborative ecosystems

The health panel explored how medtech, advanced diagnostics and new therapeutic approaches are reshaping the future of healthcare.

With contributions from Dr. Nada Raddaoui (Center for Nucleic Acid Therapeutics, Munich), Amira Romani (Siemens Healthineers), and Dr. Philipp Baaske (NanoTemper Technologies), the discussion highlighted the importance of developing innovative biophysical tools to accelerate drug discovery and support more sustainable healthcare models.

This panel also demonstrated the strength of collaborative ecosystems, particularly in Munich, where research institutions, startups and government actors work together to drive innovation.

Monaco, a global crossroads for dialogue, innovation and cooperation at Monaco Women Forum

The longevity panel, moderated by Valentina Colman, Vice President of the Monaco Women Forum, provided key insights into the biological mechanisms of aging.

Professor Maria Blasco presented her groundbreaking work on telomeres, the protective ends of DNA, and their role in aging and age-related diseases.

The discussion was further enriched by Professor Sarah Berry (King’s College London, ZOE), whose research on personalized nutrition is opening new pathways to extend healthy lifespan, and Dr. Hélène Ceruti (Centre Cardio-Thoracique de Monaco), who highlighted important differences in cardiovascular disease in women.

Together, the speakers emphasized the critical role of lifestyle, prevention and scientific innovation in maintaining long-term health.
